Rustic barn wedding inspiration at Moody Mountain Farm (100 Layer Cake)

New Hampshire Cakies, have you paid a visit to Moody Mountain Farm? Photog Lindsay Hackney first fell in love with the property when searching for a venue for her own wedding, and once you see all her images, you’ll totally see why. She teamed up with Lindsey M. Events to create the type of rustic, nature-inspired wedding fit for the lovely space.

Lindsay says, Barn weddings are very much still in style and many farms have painstakingly renovated their properties to accommodate large parties, but Moody Mountain Farm provides a more authentic barn experience. The space is truly a blank canvas (with a spectacular New Hampshire backdrop), and I wanted to show what a more intimate, elegant event might be like there for the upcoming colder months.

I enlisted my dear friend Lindsey of Lindsey M. Events to help pull things together. Although we reconnected as wedding professionals in New York, we grew up in New Hampshire together and decided to place an emphasis on local, natural elements. Emily Herzig provided a stunning eucalyptus garland but added accents of locally grown zinnias, crabapples and a variety of foliage, and Sarah of Mayfair Farm provided a true farm-to-table meal for our bride and groom. A dramatic eye and bold lip gave our bride an edge in contrast with her sweet BHLDN gowns, and fellow New Hampshire-born designer Emma Katzka provided the perfect finishing touch for her look with a delicate hair piece.
