Pink and gold ballet-inspired girl’s birthday party

We are soooo on top of it this week with amaze dessert table balloon installations, aren’t we? (See this birthday party if you don’t know what we mean!) Morgan of Tulips & Toadstools whipped this up, as well as the rest of the details you’ll see in mama photog Susanne Ashby Photography‘s images below, in honor of Sophia’s 8th birthday. It all had a magical ‘tutu and sparkle’ theme that was so so perfect for this ballet loving gal.

Darling as ever in Tutu du Monde tutus and accessories.

Tulips & Toadstools created Sophia’s balloon arch, accenting it with eucalyptus foliage and finishing the look with a custom rose gold name sign. A trio of pink and gold cakes and miniature desserts by Studio Sweets wowed the little dancers. Desserts were placed on mixed pink, white and gold lace cake plates and platters. How fun is the gold crown platter filled with macarons!? Rose gold vases were filled with romantic flower arrangements of peonies, garden roses and ranunculus. Susanne really wanted a fun tent for the party, thinking this may be the last year Sophia would be little enough to enjoy it. Tulips & Toadstools added a eucalyptus garland to the white lace tent, which became a guest favorite for our littlest ballerinas.

Pretty card holders from BHLDN too, huh?

Morgan was also behind these feminine floral arrangements for the table.

All you need are a couple of big streamer balloons and the cutest subject ever for a photo booth, if you ask us!

There were lots of little personalized details at the party, such as gold calligraphy macarons used in place of typical place cards. One-of-a-kind custom invitations and signage add a little style and extra personalization—our favorite is the coordinating birthday girl chair sign accented with foliage. The handmade gold photo ring displayed a photo from each year of Sophia’s life from birth to age 8. Guests took home a magic wand with a little jar of sparkle to keep the magic of make-believe going long after the party ended.
