Last Minute Halloween Projects
I have a super talented Art teacher colleague at my school who teaches the youngest students: Kindergarten and Grade 1. She always has fabulous art projects and I wanted to share some of her Halloween themed lessons this year.
First up: these cute black cats. Black tempera is sponged onto orange paper to create a cat shape. paint on some eyes, and add some white yarn for the 'web' and hot glue on a small plastic spider.
Next up: Spiders on a Web Media: silver pen on coloured paper for the web. the spider is made from a black pom-pom and pipe cleaners (chenille stems) with tiny googly eyes. Foam Halloween stickers were added as well.
And finally here are a couple of my favourite Halloween projects that my students finished last week:
Grade 3 Frankenstein Kids! (originally found on THIS blog) My instructions from last year HERE.
And my black cats collage on a gingham background. These were done by Grade 2 students. Find instructions HERE.
