Fat Tuesday Was Fun, But Wednesday Is The Day of Exposure!

I hope your Fat Tuesday celebrations were great! I enjoyed mine! It was my last hurrah before starting back to my healthy eating plan.

The scales were sitting there staring at me accusingly. I was afraid to see where I had gotten after 6 months of not paying attention to my eating habits. At the end of the night there is always a price to pay.

I worked very hard for several months starting in February of 2013. I dropped 46 1/2 pounds. I maintained it pretty well for quite a while. Some things in my life got stressful and I started soothing them with food again. Today when I stepped on the scale, I got to see the results of that. It wasn’t a shock. I knew what was coming. I have gained back 25 pounds. Maybe I will post a current picture to go with these pictures in the next few days.

So, I am back up to 163 pounds on my scale. I was down to 138 pounds and could actually squeeze into a size 2. Since I have been exercising very consistently I haven’t gone up in size nearly as much as I expected. I am still wearing some of the clothes that I purchased for my new body, although they don’t fit nearly as well as they did when I got them. They are certainly tighter around my middle!

I don’t intend to sit and mope about the weight gain. No, I am ready to get going again and get my weight down and enjoy life. I am starting today and I will be posting my weight loss every Wednesday. I will be expecting lots of encouragement from all my friends! When I blogged about my weight loss I was very faithful to my healthy eating. I think not having to post what I was doing made it easier to gain the weight. So I plan to post a significant weight loss next Wednesday!!

I will be posting some of my firsts that I didn’t get posted during the last half of the year when I have some time.
