IN THE KITCHEN: DIY BREAKFAST TOWER

A breakfast option that combines the necessity of breakfast with the aesthetics of high tea? Sign me up, everyday please! Sadly I only got to experience 3 mornings of this deliciousness when I was in Thailand recently staying at The Eugenia Hotel, but I’ve resolved that it’s to become a regular treat. Perfect for surprising that special someone (although if my bf’s dislike of high tea is anything to go by this may be best reserved for Galantines day), and even better for a relaxed mothers day when restaurants and cafes tend to be completely chaotic!
DIY: - Take a cake stand (you can DIY your own by following these instructions). - Add your favourite fruits to the top level, along with little pots of jam or marmalade. - Put a few croissants or breakfast muffins on the bottom level along with some bowls with greek yogurt and toasted muesli. Feel free to get creative and include your favourite breakfast foods (bacon can be difficult to eat off a cakestand but not impossible). Et volia! A breakfast fit for a queen (or king!).
