Come Play in May

The month of May I’m going to be kicking it with some old school blogging with Slightly Off Kilter and Food Good Laundry Bad. There is a topic for everyday and if you want to join in the fun feel free to visit their post and link up. For time sake I’m covering Mondays are for *itching, The Ball I Dropped and Art – create something beautiful.

Mondays - It’s not my nature to be a negative Nancy but for just this moment, I am SO tired of my body not cooperating! Apparently there are so many things that need work and the list is long.
My stance, flat feet and over pronation is a horrible thing to have but it can be corrected with a lot of work and constant reminders. Balance, I need more of it so that my pelvis, core and everything else will stay in check. Super tight hip flexors. What more do you want? I got out of my office chair and went to a standing desk! Come on. A strong core would be nice. With a strong core comes a strong back and I’m so sick of being in some sort of pain. It’s crap! I work too hard. Now I’m at an Arrosti doctor who assures me he can fix everything in three visits. OK let’s do that!
The Ball I Dropped - Easy because I drop them all the time. I’m not a morning person at ALL. It’s not unusual for me to roll out of the bed and get the kids to school. The problem is that my kids can’t do that and they end up late for school a LOT. It’s embarrassing really. Thank goodness the school year is almost over. Another time I dropped the ball was not showing up for a school event when I was suppose to. I didn’t know parents could come! At least I didn’t read that part on the letter sent home from school. Face palm!
Art – Create something beautiful
I’m totally cheating because when I think of that term I just think of our Silly. Every Sunday she creates art by getting her dance on during service and it’s posted on my Instagram and Facebook account. She’s awesome! Enjoy.
