Hats off to Harper

While it is more common for us ladies to have an off the charts shoe obsession (which I am guilty of too of course), my other infatuation lies in good, old-fashioned chapeaux.

Now there is no discrimination when it comes to choosing a topper’s style. I, for one, ping pong back and forth between wide brimmed fedoras, paper boy caps and even woven boaters in the summer. But, sometimes I am in the mood for an original creation. Thankfully my go-to hat designer, Ashley of Faeth Millinery, always knows how to feed my addiction.

In today’s look, my fantasy of an alabaster felt fedora during Paris Fashion Week was satisfied. What’s more, Ashley had the genius idea of adding a metallic underbrim to the hat which pretty much equated to a sun reflector often used during photo shoots to add a sun-kissed sheen to the models. Therefore Nausheen became Yes-sheen.
