Morocco indulgent

So we went to one of my favourite spots in the world and this must have been my fifth time to Morocco. Every time I see this oriental, magical place in a different light, learn something new or try flavours new to my lips and heart. The arabic spirit is still surrounding behind every corner of the city, yet with a secretive hint of the mystic and the time far back in ages. The culture is still so captivated, a perfect mix of complete chaos and colours, the traditions so well taken cared of and I love how passion lives in most things people still do with hands. How things are allowed to take time, made with the truth of every souls making.

We stayed in this private mansion we heard about from some friends down in South of France who had been there before. Eight private suits, still preserved as the rich family who let this house be build and decorated it, had left it. The owner now, the son of the founder of this small, hidden hotel is living in a house next to it and he is there to tell you the story or give you the best tips of whatever your search for. The service was absolute top notch and the kitchen delicious. We ate a dinner in the lightened darkness there one night and it was one of the two best dinners we've had. The rest of the nights and lunches we had booked some amazing Riads an kitchen one has to make a reservation at. The Moroccan kitchen is just so tasty and I never get tired of the flavours of cinnamon, cardamon, cumin, coriander, raisin, vegetables, low cooked meat with that delicious couscous, soft and porous like it should, made in a two and a half hours process.

Expect a cavalcade of beautiful inspirational photos from Marrakech the upcoming days. We've had a passionate, romantic and very, very harmonic travel for sure.

Thank you S and T for making this come true! We love you!
