Our Farm and Forest series is centered around my obsession with food and Jahsa’s upbringing on a farm in the mountains. Our first creation was Humbert the Hedgehog. Humbert is a completely original design made from felting wool and love. I hade never felted before nor read any literature on the topic at the time of making Humbert, but I had watched Jahsa’s aunt felt for three days straight during a snowy season. She was kind enough to send me home with minimal materials and it was just enough to bring Humbert to life.
