Puppy love

Last weekend my parents went away with my grandparents so we were dog sitting. I love having Pepe & Nina stay over. Both myself and Scott would love a dog but as we're out of the house a lot and very busy, we can't quite commit to a dog at the moment. However, this means when we have the dogs staying over for the weekend they get spoilt rotten.

We love taking them for long walks around Sefton Park

Pepe is the eldest and he was actually a gift for my 18th birthday from my grandparents. He is now 8, which I can't quite get my head around! He will always be my little baby. When I moved out it was quite hard to get used to not having a dog around to cuddle or stroke when feeling stressed or sad. I sometimes think I miss the dogs more than I miss my parents! This is obviously because I can just pick up the phone and stay in touch with them, but with the dogs it's not so easy. Nothing beats a yorkie cuddle and kiss!

Nina is the little puppy of the dogs. She is actually nearly 5 but still gets mistaken for a puppy, especially when next to Pepe! She is Pepe's niece and we got her from the same breeder, but they couldn't be more different. Nina is more boisterous and likes to bark a lot, whereas Pepe is the calming influence.
We're next dog sitting in June so expect more instagram-spam from me if you follow me there!
