Women to be Watching on Wednesday #5

Welcome to another week of my Women to Watch series. I love getting to know these other amazing bloggers and getting to share them with all of you. This week we are getting to know the lovely blogger Felicia from not one but two blogs.

1. Give us the 3-5 sentence run down of your life(where do you live, are you married, do you have kids, what’s your job) Help me get to know you a little better)

I live in South Florida with my parents and siblings I am single, never been married, with no children. I do odd jobs, mostly babysitting, as I am working on completing my first book to be self-published. I run two blogs a lifestyle blog (HelloFelecia.com) and a style blog (Thestylist.hellofelecia.com) as well as run a little handmade shop (www.hellofelecia.storenvy.com).

2. What is one of the last things that you did just for you?

I constantly try to do something for myself in the mix of all I do for others. My thing lately is carving out a day each week to focus on doing something for fun, sometimes it is watching a movie, reading a book, doing a craft project, or having a spa day.

3. Where is the best place you’ve ever vacationed?

I have gone on very few vacation in my life. So that’s hard to say, growing up my favorite place to visit was my grandparents. We also went to Disney World once. I travel a bit mostly for mission trips to New York City, all over Florida, Cuba, and the Philippines. I haven’t on purpose taken a vacation and gone somewhere, I have made plans to before but it never usually works out.

4. What is a favorite quote?

It is by Helen Keller, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” and one by Audrey Hepburn, “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’.” It reminder of what can be accomplished through working with others, coming along side someone, as well as to not look at any situation as impossible but take the time to see how it is possible. I feel like people give their brain cramps when they assume something to be impossible just because at the moment they can seem to figure out how it is possible. I for one simply rely on the fact that, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13) with that nothing is impossible it simply takes more time, thought, and prayer.

5. Describe yourself in 3 words.

Compassion. Beauty. Grace.

6. Who has had the biggest influence in your life?

My family, I am who I am because of the amazing family God bless me with. I learned so much from my mother, but the one thing that sticks out is patience. From my Dad I have learned faithfulness. I could name something I have learned from every member of my family including nieces and nephews, but that would take a while I have seven siblings and four nieces and two nephews. So the simple answer the biggest influence in my life is my family.

You can keep up with her on her Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter and of course on her blogs. This one too. Wherever you decide to visit with her, I am sure you will enjoy getting to know her.
