April Favorites

I wanted to post something meaningful today, but because I went to bed at 5am whilst playing The Sims Freeplay and later waking up realizing that I have a ton of packages to send out, I lost all energy to come up with an interesting topic to write about. I did, however, come home with $24.75 for selling my old stuff at Plato's Closet and an interesting sports bra from Target. So to make up for it, here are my favorites for the month of April!

1. Tokyo Eats' Tokyo Guide to The Ultimate Guide for Foodies. I will not take credit for randomly finding out about this book or Tokyo Eats' blog. Jenny of sushi-cat introduced this book on her blog, which triggered me wanting it because I have been planning out my trip to Japan for ages now. Back when I was in high school, I did not get to explore Japan as much as I would have liked because my school was following a specific itinerary. This next trip to Japan will be an excursion that I will go on my own and I am definitely going to splurge on food.

2. Bailey cat will always be a monthly favorite, but this photo of him is my most favorite. He some how managed to tuck himself underneath the flannel sheets that I bought for Richard and slept like this for hours. Whenever pets do stuff like this, it seriously pulls at every heart string that I have in my body.

3. Pencil organizers. Okay, this is just a jar, but it really helps knowing that the jars are see-through. I always tend to misplace my writing utensils so after finishing all of my almonds that were previously thrown into these jars, I decided to go ahead and reuse them as pencil and pen holders. The lids hold my erasers and white-out tape so it is a win-win organizer!

4. Reese's peanut butter cups. These things are the devil. I am lactose-intolerant and I hardly ever eat sweets unless I have gone made, but these things I just cannot refuse. In fact, the first thing I did once Easter Sunday was over was to run to the nearest grocery store and grab all the mini Reese's peanut butter cups assorted bags while they were still on sale. The worst part was that I got ill eating them, but I am still not regretful of it. It. Is. Delicious.
