This year, in honor of my One Little Word® "give," I'm sharing a hand-drawn quote each Sunday here on my blog.

Joan Didion is one of my favorite writers. Raw. To the point. Real. You can listen to an interview with her that aired on Fresh Air back in 2005 - Writing A Story After An Ending - where she talks about her memoir The Year Of Magical Thinking about the time in her life after the death of her husband. In the interview she says, "I don't actually process anything until I write it down." This interview is very much about death and loss - and might be a tough listen for some people depending on your life situation.
