History and Geography Meme 170: Highlights From June

Aren't the days...and months just going by so fast?
In June, we studied Henry of Anjou, The Norman Conquest and How we Carry out Historical Inquiry, The Seljuk Turks, and finished our study of the Medieval Peasant and Medieval Tradesmen.

Although there were not a lot of link-ups in June, the posts that were linked-up were just fantastic. You have to check them out, if you haven't yet. And don't forget to leave a comment when you visit!
Adventures in Mommydom linked up a great post on how to Excavate the Cookie Fossil.
As He Leads is Joy linked up a fun post on dining out in Hong Kong and Hong Kong Food.
Angelicscalliwags linked up several wonderful posts in their Elizabethan Unit Study: In week 2, they made banners, pomanders, Elizabethan costumes and Old Fashioned Rice Pudding. In week 3, they worked with Middle English, made and played 9 Men Morris, made masks and paper dolls. In week 4, they studied Drake's travels, why the Spanish Armada failed, and one of Queen Elizabeth's speeches.

What history and geography studies have you been doing this week?
I have really enjoyed the community of homeschoolers we have built here and I encourage you to check out the links you may not have seen and make a comment on the posts.
As always I hope that you continue to link your new (and old) posts with any history and geography topic to this meme every Thursday.

Don't forget to link up to the Multicultural Kids Blog's Blog Hop each month.
