May 15-21, 2015 Snapshot Summary

May 15-21, 2015
May has been a whirlwind of activity for us.

This week we had my in-laws visit from California. We mostly just stayed about the house and hung out together.

Quentin having a Chesapeake Dog (crabmeat, cheese and LOTS of Old Bay- see how orange it is!) at Jo Jo's.
We did take them to our favorite hot dog joint.
It was Quentin's 11th birthday. He is having his party at the roller rink on Saturday, but we had a small family party for him at home on his actual birthday. He has been enjoying his birthday presents.

Eddie at the model rocket launch a couple of weeks ago.
Eddie is still in the hospital but Hope still came over for our weekly game night.
Hope just got word that they are moving Eddie from Johns Hopkins to Mt Washington sometime on Friday morning, which we are all not too happy about. It is not as good a hospital and Eddie will not have access to an XBOX, which helps to pass the endless time in the hospital. Hope also has the added burden of the fact that she lost another son years ago to CF at that same hospital. All the memories and frustrations are attached to the hospital. Please keep up your prayers for the whole family.
We also went on a field trip to Fort McHenry in Baltimore as a whole family, which was wonderful. Can you believe that I have lived in Maryland for over fifty years and I had never got to Fort McHenry before? It was neat to go there while the War of 1812 Anniversary is still going on.
How was your week?
