L’Occitane has a real hold on me when it comes to skincare. Although I’ve heard rave reviews from fellow bloggers with oily skin, I’d like to point out my dry skin soaks up their stuff in the very best way. From the base ingredients to the special touches…I’m becoming quite the L’Occitane obsessed blogger. Recently I had the opportunity to try some of the new products from their expanded shea skincare line…& obviously after dedicating a whole post to why I already love the L’Occitane shea line I jumped at it! Check out my thoughts below!

The first step in skincare is cleansing. I tend to use two different cleansers in my routine- one for morning & one for night. In the morning I don’t have any makeup on so I don’t need the extra cleansing power but I do tend to go more for the hydration. My skin is generally pretty dry so I try to work in hydrating products where I can! I am totally in love with the L’Occitane Shea Butter Cleansing Milk for my morning cleanser. It is has softening shea and soothing licorice extract that make my skin feel nice & smooth. Like the rest of the products I’m mentioning, I apply using a soft cotton round to my facial area then take down my neck.

At the end of the day when I’m covered in makeup products I’m just dying to get off my face- that’s where the L’Occitane Shea Butter Cleansing Oil comes in. Oils are one of my favorites because they efficiently remove impurities & make-up (including waterproof) in a single step. Plus they don’t strip my dry skin! I apply to my skin then wet my hands to massage in. I use a washcloth to gently buff in & remove so I get a little exfoliation too!

The L’Occitane Shea Butter Gentle Toner is an alcohol-free lotion that completes make-up removal and tones skin. Enriched with softening shea and floral waters (orange blossom and cornflower), it leaves skin clean, soft and fresh. I personally really enjoy toners because I feel like they are that perfect step between cleansing & moisturizing. My favorite part is that this does great even when my skin is super sensitive in areas- & around my eyes! That’s pretty impressive in a toner.

The L’Occitane products I’ve tried have pretty much all been rave reviews. From packaging to concept to general use…I remain impressed. I can’t wait to try some more items from this skincare line because I have had such awesome results! What are some of your favorite L’Occitane products? Anything I need to go get my hands on?
