Saturday Top 5: Solid Colour Nail Polishes

I have decided that each Saturday I am going to do the my 5 of a certain product.
This week I am doing the top 5 of my favourite nail polishes. I didn't purposely decide to choose 5 different brands. Happy coincidence.

My number 5 is Models Own 'Nude Beige'
I got this a little while ago and actually got it free with a magazine. Can't remember which one but I am so so glad I picked it up as I am not actually a huge fan of magazines but really wanted the nail polish. I think this colour is great for wearing to work if you want a bit of colour on your nails but not something that is very eye catching. It lasts really well and I haven't had any major problems with chipping as of yet.

My number 4 is Ciate's 'Cupcake Queen'
If you are a regular on my blog, you would have seen that I was lucky to get this for Christmas from my mum and it has very quickly become one of my favourites. The colour is just beautiful. I love pink nail polishes but the thing that put's this above all the others is the lovely blue tone that it has as well as how well it applies and lasts. The cute bottle doesn't hurt either.

My number 3 is BourJoi's 'Rouge Escarpin'
This is possibly one of those nail polishes that I think is a staple product in every woman's make up. A good red nail polish. For me, this is it. Odd name, but apart from that its a beautifully shiny bright red that I always find my self grabbing before any of my other reds. I do have a little problem with it chipping quite easily but I only need to apply one coat when using this so I don't mind touching it up now and again when needed.

My number 2 is Butter London's 'Old Blighty'
The main reason why I love this colour so much is that it's not quite a red and not quite a brown. The only let down is that this applies quite thinly and looks almost watery when applied so either very thick layers are needed or lots.

My number 1 is Avon's 'Peppermint Leaf'
Now I couldn't even tell you how long I have had this nail polish. Years. Lots of years. That's the best thing about it. Or at least one of. I have had this for so long and it has kept amazingly well. You are only really supposed to have nail polishes for about two years but this is still doing great and hasn't started to separate at all. The main reason why I love this polish so much is the colour. I am a huge fan of mint green and this is such a great thick polish that lasts, I couldn't imagine any other polish managing to beat it.

Don't forget to check out my blog next Saturday for my top 5 Glitter Polishes.
