Battle of the Cleansers | Beauty

I've been on somewhat of cleanser quest the past few months. Skincare is kind of a big deal for me and I don't mind spending a bit of dollar to keep it looking on top form, afterall 2015 is about looking after my health and myself (rhyming cringe)

Now I still love a bit of the original Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, but something about the creamy formula just hasn't been cutting the mustard recently. My skin got a bit used to it, and it just wasn't getting the daily grime off, so I decided to switch things up. Oil, gels, balms; you name it, I've tried it.

So, following my extensive research, here's a line-up of my three current favourites.

Boscia Tsubaki Cleansing Oil-Gel
So you know how much I love clean food. Well, this is the cleansing equivalent. Boscia products are are all botanical-based and preservative free - an ultimate product for 'clean' skin. I picked up this in Sephora after Amelia raved about it on her blog. The oil-gel formula is so light but really packs a punch when it comes to removing impurities. The Tsubaki oil firms and hydrates the skin and the combination of the oil and gel formula doesn't give you that tight-feeling which can come with some cheaper cleansers. And the convenient pump applicator makes this an all-round winner.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm
I have never seen so many people rave about a cleanser, and for good reason! Emma Hardie's balm cleanser is so luxurious, smells a dream and, cleanses the skin so damn well I really couldn't believe it the first time I used it. The thick balm is packed with plant extracts and vitamin E, leaving the skin hydrated and brightened. A little goes a long way too, so the hefty price tag is fully justified.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel
First thing I thought when I used this? Turkish delight in cleanser form. It seriously smells like you're smothering your face in the sweet stuff. Applied to dry skin, just one pump of Oskia's gel cleanses your complete face and leaves it feeling revitalised. The Oskia range, developed in conjunction with nutritionists, is all based around MSM (or the 'beauty mineral') which boosts the skin's collagen production and helps decrease inflammation for amazing skin. Even after the first few uses, I saw a noticeable difference in my skin's appearance and my pores have magically shrunk somehow! Truly a miracle worker.
