Over just like that!



I can't believe it! Pastry school is finished! Where did five months go?

I loved being in school again, and am so sad that my time in the classroom is up. Now it's onto the real world learning experience they call being a stagiaire in France. Come Monday, this girl is low woman on the totem pole in the pastry kitchen at one of Paris's five star hotels. To say I'm nervous is the understatement of the century. There's the whole being mediocre at French thing, knowing only five months worth of pastry, and then of course, the most important worries of all--who I will sit with at the canteen and will my dorky safety shoes match everyone else's dorky safety shoes. These are the things that keep me up at night along with nightmares about a giant bowl of dark chocolate that refuses to be tempered. Although, I have a feeling that this time next week I won't be having trouble sleeping one tiny bit. Pretty sure 5am wake up calls will have me passed out by 9pm.

Onward to the work force! (career redo, yay!)
