Paris Running Tour Challenge

Galette des rois overload = "more" working out (in theory, right?)

More working out = exercise boredom

Exercise boredom = time to find something new! ---> Paris Running Tour Challenge = run the neighborhoods of Paris, earn points, and win prizes :-)

No way I'm winning any awards, but just the idea of me a winner's podium is enough to get me to sign up. I can't take credit for finding Le Paris Running Tour. News of this challenge landed in my inbox via an email from the Paris Running Group on Meet-up.com. While I don't run with this group, I receive their emails to stay posted on upcoming races and special running events. The group also organizes multiple running groups a week so check it out it you're looking for running buddies. But how fun would it be to say you've run all of Paris's arrondissements? Okay, maybe not fun for anyone who thinks running is the most boring thing in the world, but I think it's an awesome adrenaline filled way to experience each and every view of Paris. Depending on what category you fall into, you have to run 4 to 5 races and they take points from a maximum of 8 races. You're automatically registered for the challenge when you sign up for one of the 15 races on this year's challenge calendar. And to save yourself time picking up a bib and time chip for each race, you can sign up for TopChrono's TimePoint which costs 30 euros versus 40 if you register before the 14th of February. Could be a good deal!

Time to map out this snail trail and see what races I can schedule. Who's in?!
