Best High Street Trench Coat?

Could this Topshop “soft belted trench” be the best trench coat on the high street? With its nipped-in waist and contrast banding, I think that it might be a strong contender! The shape is just beautiful and the length is sexy and modern. I tweeted about a similar trench a couple of months ago and made the classic mistake of “tweeting before buying” – when I went to click to pay for everything in my basket, it had bloody well sold out in my size!

So this time I’ve ordered it in two sizes, just to be safe (a UK10 and UK8, apparently it comes up large) and they are on their way to me right this minute. I shall update you on sizing and quality when I’ve tried the coat on – I just thought I’d give you a head start, if you liked the look of this, because I have a feeling it’ll be popular. Hopefully I’ll be able to shoehorn my mahoosive, matronly chest into it…
