Space NK Goody Bag Time…
Oh, the Space NK Goody Bag: always sent to tempt us. This time, a slightly lower-than-usual spend threshold and perhaps a slightly lower value, though I am yet to tot up the contents. Hold on while I grab my calculatrice… I can tell you for a start that the minimum spend is £100, and inside the goody bag there’s a FULL SIZE Cleansing Oil from NUDE, worth £28. (Read about it on the site here.) Then there’s a deluxe sample of Sunday Riley’s Good Genes – equivalent value £28 (30ml costs £85 and it’s a 10ml tube) – as well as a gorgeous little box of Aromatherapy Associate Bath Oils (approx £17.50), some Eyeko eye patches (aarrrr, me hearties!), a miniature Becca primer and a little Algenist Eye Balm worth about £22.
If the sample of the Revive Even Skin Tone Cream seems a little tight, at 5ml, bear in mind that the full-size pot (50ml) is more expensive than a house. Kind of. At £175, it makes the sample pot, which holds barely enough to cover a gnat’s arse, worth a whopping £17.50. There are also some exfoliating pads from Radical Skincare – I can’t find these on Space NK so perhaps they are new, but you get fifteen of them so a good old stock to have a try with. And there’s a snazzy little makeup bag thrown in, too, bringing my total guesstimate goody bag value up to around £140.
Anyway, the value of the bag is definitely more than the required spend, so if you were in the market for a skincare/bodycare/makeup/candle stock-up then today is the day! My current Space NK favourites are – just in case you are searching for inspiration – By Terry’s Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow pencil, any By Terry foundation (they are all lush), Living Proof Shampoo and Conditioner, the mammoth-sized Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm and Aurelia’s Miracle Cleanser. Phew.
