I often get requests for recipes when I post food-related things on instagram, so I thought I'd share a few simple things.

Lemonade made of cherries & raspberries /

2 liters of cherries
2 liters of raspberries
12 dl water
12 dl sugar
1 teaspoon of sodium benzoate (you can exclude this if you make a smaller batch)
Rinse the berries and pour them into a pan/pot. Add the water and bring to a boil. Put a lid on it and boil for 15 minutes. To make sure you get all the juice from the berries you can squish them with a spoon. Take another pot and put a mesh bag or some other fine strainer (a thin kitchen towel also works) over it and pour the berries into it. Leave to drain for 30 minutes. After this, bring the lemonade to a boil once again, add the sugar and stir until it has dissolved. Optional - Pour a little of the lemonade into a cup and add the sodium benzoate, mix it and then pour it all into the rest of the lemonade - (you can skip this step if you are making a small batch). Now you just have to pour everything onto clean and warm bottles. Finished! Don't forget to dilute with water before you drink!

Scones /

3 dl milk (yoghurt also works)
125 grams of margarine or butter
7-8 dl wheat or graham flour
4 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt

Mix all the dry ingredients with margarine. Add the milk (or yoghurt) and quickly work it into a dough - don't overwork it! Divide into as many pieces as you want and bake them at 250 degrees celsius for 10-15 minutes, sometimes longer if you made bigger ones. Finished! Eat them with anything you like - I usually have them with marmalade and cheese. This recipe is enough for four people and you can of course both double all the measurements or cut them in half.

Waffles /

3,5 dl wheat flour
3 teaspoons of baking powder
2 dl milk
2,5 dl water
100 grams of melted margarine or butter

Mix everything together and heat your waffle iron! I usually eat waffles with whatever I can find in the house - fresh berries (blueberries, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, etc), slices of fruit (apples, bananas, nectarines, plums, etc), nutella, whipped cream and powdered sugar. This recipe is also enough for four people, double or decrease as you like!

I've only used Swedish measurements, google can provide you with a converter if you need one!
