Backlit.

The days are getting warmer and my clothes are getting shorter.

We’ve been having some really great weather here in Dublin for the last week or two (and apparently it’s here to stay for another 1-2 weeks, fingers crossed!) which makes me SO happy. My ultimate favourite time of day to shoot is just as the sun is setting, because that backlight is so just damn gorgeous and makes everything & anything a million times more photogenic, so dreamy.

Not only is the light making things better, but the longer evenings & spring temperatures makes it easier to step outside in a little pair of cut-offs which can only mean that the European summer is right around the corner. Halle freakin lujah. I am such a summer baby, as much as I adore AW trends I love nothing more than sweltering heat and wearing as little as possible whenever I can.

So, since we’re not quite there yet – when wearing little denim shorts I would still go for a long sleeved top to balance things out, especially as it’s a lot cooler in the shade. I am a sucker for a good striped top right now, honestly the last 5 things I’ve bought recently all involve stripes! This one is from H&M and I think is my current favourite, as it’s hard to find a long sleeve top that’s so fitted!

Anyway I also want to apologize for not being quite so active on the blog these last few days, since having my operation I’ve felt quite drained while still having a million and one things to do / see but I will write up a little post about that again soon.
