graduated from Bachelor of Design (Fashion) in 2008 and always wanted to start a career in fashion but just never did. after lingering for years and finally decided to launch her collection in 2012 – hopefully the most exciting and life-changing tangent to be. not just any ordinary street wear; arinakhoo tried to translate what she likes and dislikes into her own vocabulary of street wear. arinakhoo’s designs are based on minimalist patterns and fundamental forms. this is where she introduces and exploits her affection for the art of draping. what seems like a humble piece is later been characterized by traditional draping technique and tailors pad-stitching technique; in unconventional way. the effect is conceived not merely as a trend but also being induced by the energy of hand-stitching features. indeed, this mode of making defines her designs - fastenings and sizing which are familiar, but not prominent for her, are evitable in her pieces. arinakhoo create pieces that are distinctive in their own way; through their own mood. ... .... ... .... if you value these pieces and would like to own one, please contact arinakhoo at
