Color Run {2015}

For the last three years, she has watched me take each of her brothers on Color Run dates. She knew this was going to be her year, but she didn’t know WHEN. I woke her up before sunrise…”Hey girlie, you want to go on a date?” Needless to say, she was giddy once she realized where we were headed.

The wait to get the run going nearly wore her out, but she was a trooper. She wanted COLOR!

We ran with my mom, sister and some friends…good times.

She walked 90% of the time, very much unlike her brothers. Once we finally reached the blue (it was the last color), she basically just rolled in it. She did have googles on when others were throwing the color powder on her. Guess she ditched them to play.

She asked one of the volunteers if she could have more powder from the bucket…he helped her out. Hard to say, “no” to her grin.

The race ended with glitter at the Finish Line – basically the most perfect race ending ever for her!

The saying, “She leaves a little sparkle everywhere she goes.” – Let’s just say that is very much true for the two of us…we are literally leaving sparkle everywhere we go!
