Cinco de Mayo Nail Art: Bed of Roses

Happy Cinco de Mayo! To be honest, I don't really do much to celebrate this holiday (maybe we'll have tacos for dinner?) but I thought I'd share this cute mani that I got last week at Julep. We have a manicurist who is super good at nail art, so occasionally I get to work with her on fun manis for our social media. It's a pretty fun part of my job, not gonna lie! For Cinco de Mayo, we decided to do something chic and subtle--something that's festive, but could still be rocked any time of the year.

So she gave me this fiesta-ready manicure! If you want to recreate it, it’s actually fairly easy (as far as nail art goes, anyways). The roses are just blobs of red polish with lines of darker red on top to define them.

I seriously love how my nails turned out--I’ve been looking at them all week long! What about you? Do you ever do nail art? Would you try this manicure?
