CHECKING IN

Hi Everyone! I have no excuse for my blogging absence, other than I was having some blogging paralysis. Every time I would sit down to blog, I was overcome with anxiety. I think it had to do with Carol heading back to the UK, but I finally heard from her, so no more excuses, and I have been having a great time on Instagram.Carol went camping her first week back with her classmates, and learned to make a wood burning oven from clay they scooped from the river. Her dad and I kind of laugh about this, thinking this is one expensive oven if you think of all the tuition the parents have shelled out, but we’re very grateful she is having this experience, and I know she is having a great time.I decided to try some new Fall pieces with this fabulous cool front that we’re having. These boots are my new favorite shoes! They are from Madewell. The bag is a favorite too–Jane and I met up with the Meredith Wendell team a couple of months ago, and Meredith brought me this bag. I had wanted it over Christmas, but it sold out–I love the big suede patch.I’ll be in better touch this week!
