Kelly Clarkson Shares Her Inspiration For Daughter River’s Name

New mom Kelly Clarkson is out promoting her new music and dishing on life with a baby girl. The ultra-talented singer shared how she and husband Brandon Blackstock decided on their baby girl’s name, River Rose.

Kelly says that the name choice wasn’t a dramatic story, really. She shared, “We live on a river, so it really wasn’t that creative. We were outside on our balcony, and we both looked at each other and were like, ‘What about River? That’s kind of cool.’” And the middle name Rose came from family. “It’s my mother’s maiden name.”

Too cute! We love the name River for a boy or for a girl!
