QUEEN OF MY HEART.

It's been over 6 weeks since I last posted. A part of me felt I would never get round to blogging again but I've missed it so much. I've struggled through work and assignments where the only reason I went online. I also had people I thought where friends be extremely rude and killed my blogging vibe- which is ironic as blogging has given me more friends than I ever had.
I neglected my appearance, and when your biggest interest in life is pin up fashion avoiding make up (as it irritated my stressed skin) and neglecting my straighteners I didn't feel pin up. Now I actually have time off and getting back the lost sleep I'm ready to care for myself again.

I know the phrase is you are what you eat- and if you put goodness in you you'll glow- but I've always believed the other way too. If externally you're happy, internally you are too-its why dying my hair improves my mood so much. I don't want to dwell on how low I have been feeling-I would much rather share my beautiful clothes! This is what I wore to the British Bells Pin Up Picnic In The Park several weeks ago.

I promise I was also wearing shoes- but I love the feel of grass under my feet so I kicked them off as soon as we got to Hyde Park.
This AMAZING Queen of Hearts Jenny skirt is the most beautiful thing I have ever owned. I didn't see the appeal of the Jenny until I wore this and I'm hooked!
The gathering at the waist gives the skirt some serious fullness (I don't really need a petticoat underneath) and the print itself is beautiful. The only down side is the sizing. I bought a 2xl for the waist (36 inches) but its actually a little baggy, nothing that adding a hook and eye or button wont fix. unlike my PUG capris I bought this skirt from Deadly Is The Female (a UK site) and they're awesome- fast, safe shipping and a lot cheaper overall.
I paired it with a vintage halterneck (and no bra obviously) and took my vintage parasol for its first and only trip this year. Jodie x
