I need a body lotion ,that too an intense one, throughout the year. Except for my face my entire body is super dry and scaly, especially legs and feet. I hate the sign of ashy-ness thats why I am always looking for formulas that are rich and super-moisturizing. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter comes in a huge pump bottle. Mine didn’t work initially but started working properly after few days, maybe because the bottle was full and the formula is slightly thick. I wash my hands gazillion times throughout the day and end up with dry cuticles and wrinkly skin, this product has been my saviour ever since I ran out of my Soap & Glory Hand Cream. I massage it gently and formula disappears leaving skin soft & smooth.
After bath I apply this body butter all over my body and wait for it to sink into my skin. I avoid heavy butters during summers since they leave that greasy sticky residue behind, which later cause back-acne in my case. This formula on the other hand is very moisturizing without being oily or heavy.
I love how chocolate-y it smells. Scent is not over powering and fades away gradually.
After using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Firming Butter for good one month I can surely see improvement in my skin texture, however I can’t say much about the firming claims. Collagen in the formula does smooth out the skin and rich cream prevents skin from further drying. I apply it once in the morning on all over my body and repeat the step before going to bed, this time only on legs and feet.
