How to Wear a Corset

So I’ve been kinda loving the corset trend. Although many of you aren’t fans of Kim K. I’ve always loved her and love how she sets trends and embraces her curves (real or injected)! She’s been heavy on the trend and so has my girl, Ashley Graham! Anyway, I wanted to wear one but in a way that wasn’t so sexy… just wanted to dip my toe into the trend.
So, how do we pull this off without looking like a dominatrix? Well, try adding another dimension to a button-down with a corset belt or styled over t-shirts, sweatshirts, and flowy or oversize dresses.

I love how the hardness of the belt plays agains softer or unexpected pieces. Of course it would look great on a bodycon but that’s not practical for a lot of venues. However, this look can be worn to brunch, dinner, church, or even a date night. This belt is from Forever21 | Top is from Ashley Stewart. Got it a while back.
