International Women's Day with Pink Parcel

As you may or may not know, the 8th of March is International Women's Day. To celebrate, subscription box service Pink Parcel are offering one free parcel to anyone who signs up to the service on International Women's Day, such a great offer! So I thought I'd take the opportunity to give it a try and let you know my thoughts.

If you've never heard of Pink Parcel before, it's a subscription box service based around delivering period supplies for your time of the month, plus some little treats to make that dreaded time a little bit easier. You can make it personal to you by choosing between tampons or pads and even a choice of brand so you know you'll be getting something that works for you. You can also request the box to arrive in time for your period too rather than your standard subscription box sending them all out at the same time.

In your box you should receive 25 tampons or pads plus your little box of goodies. I also like the fact that the box includes sleek repackaged boxes and even a little pouch you can pop in your handbag to keep things discreet!

In the treat box you'll find items which are based around making you feel a little better during your period. It's a good mix of beauty and food items so there's something for everyone. In my box I received a full sized OPI nail polish, Witch anti-blemish redness relief moisturiser, Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Skin Retexturizing Primer, Yardley Energising Peony Body Lotion, Doisy & Dam Goji & Orange Organic Dark Chocolate and a sample of Pukka Love tea.

I think just from looking at the product choices, they've really thought about which products to include in the box and it can make all the difference when you're feeling rubbish! I think the Pink Parcel box is a great idea, not only functional but also very nice to receive. I think it would make a great gift for someone who does suffer during their time of the month or even for young girls who have just started their periods (They also have a teen box!) to make it a bit more of a pleasant experience.

If you're interested in trying out the Pink Parcel, make sure you note down the 8th of March in your diary to make sure you receive your free box. You can find out more details via the Pink Parcel website.
