Current Favorite Facial Masks ft. Artistry (dry/combo, sensitive skin)

I've been a mask-aholic for years now, and I've come to learn that my skin is not as "normal" as it used to be. In my teenage years I used to do heavy exfoliation and clay masks. Now in my late twenties, and after two pregnancies (oh those lovely irrational hormonal changes), my skin has zones of dry, oily, sensitive, and pore-clogging tendencies. It's a serious map to follow for skincare needs and products. Luckily, I have found two masks that work amazing on my skin; Artistry Essentials Pore Cleansing Masque, and Essentials Moisture Intense Masque ($23.40 ea).

For my dry forehead and cheeks I use the Artistry Essentials Moisture Intense Masque, and for my enlarged pore areas on my upper cheeks, nose, and chin I use the Artistry Essentials Pore Cleansing Masque. Both masks have a relaxing scent, oh how I love this aroma when I'm zoning out during mask-time, and they both have a creamy texture that doesn't completely harden when dry. These masks are very gentle on my sensitive skin, although the Moisture Intense Masque has a bit of alcohol in it, so I tend to keep it away from my chin, the only hyper-sensitive and reactive area on my face - the Pore Cleansing Masque is both oil and alcohol free. I wear these masks for about 10-15 minutes. To remove, I soak a washcloth in hot water, and lay it on my face to steam and gentle dissolve the masks off my face. I do not rub or wipe them off, my skin is too high maintenance to tolerate that.

I find the Moisture Intense Masque is indeed an intense dose of moisture, perfect for my dry skin, it always looks supple and fresh afterwards. The Pore Cleansing Masque is the only one of its kind that my skin can handle, and having enlarged pores prone to clogging, I appreciate it so much. With regular use (1-3 times a week), my pores look smaller and less noticeable, less clogging - nearly poreless!

For the before and after images, I refrained from using the Pore Cleansing Masque for a whole week to show how bad my pores can look, clogged and textured and gross (don't worry, I still maintained my cleansing skincare routine). The after image clearly shows they are cleaner, tighter/smaller, and the texture of my skin is smoother. It's like night and day!
