Essence Stays No Matter What Eye Pencil & Shadow - Review & Swatches

I bought a handful of Essence Stays No Matter What Eye Pencil & Shadow sticks from Ulta a while ago, for about $3 or so, and honestly they are only good for smudged liner looks (top and lower lash lines). They are waterproof and smudge proof, but they set so fast that attempting to blend out the edges is a little rough and tough - so I would not recommend using these as an eyeshadow color base. Even though they are waterproof, they don't wear well at all on the waterline. Pretty much, if you like smokey liner looks, smudgey lash lines, these are ideal - pigmented, easy to apply and smudge, and wears crease-less all day and night without migration or transfer. Lastly, they are wooden pencils, so you can simply sharpen them in a jumbo cosmetics pencil sharpener.

p.s. as I'm posting this now, I noticed they are no longer on the Ulta website, but you might still see them in stores or maybe even clearance bins.
