Pixi Natural Brow Duo | Review
Pixi Natural Brow Duo - Medium Brown*
I've been very lucky and had pretty decent eyebrows growing up. Except when I was about 14 and my best friend at the time took a razor to my uni-brow and I looked ridiculous for weeks until it grew back, but I never really over plucked and just tried to keep to my natural shape as much as possible. Eyebrows are so important as they frame your face. If I have a make-up free day, I make sure to always do my eyebrows as they make me look a little bit put together, even if I don't feel it.
A lot of brow products have hit the market recently and I already have a fair few eyebrow products in my stash, however when I saw the Pixi Natural Brow Duo* I instantly wanted to try it. The duo includes a waterproof brow pencil with an angled tip and a tinted brow gel to keep unruly brows in place. I love that the product is two in one, it makes everything so much easier.
I've seen a couple of reviews that seem to differ in opinion, some people seem to love it, and some seem to not agree. For me, from the first use I was instantly in love with this product. I have the shade Medium Brown and it's a perfect match for my brow colour. I find the pencil really easy to use and the angled shape makes application really simple. I use short feathery strokes for a natural look and the colour just blends in really well. It does look really soft and natural. The pencil end almost feels a bit waxy to me which is great as it means extra hold. It also claims to be waterproof which seems to be the case as I always use this before a sweaty workout and so far I haven't had any eyebrow mishaps. The tinted gel is just as good as it has enough hold without making the fine hairs appear crispy and the colour also blends in nicely too. I use this product every morning and I'm so happy with it, I love the soft natural look it gives and the colour and hold lasts all day.
Packaging is pretty nice too, I love the green box with gold detailing and the tube is just sleek and simple. The transparent casing is great as well as it's great to be able to see how much of the gel is left. The pencil twists up nice and easily and I don't seem to use that much of the product which means it should last longer.
For my first Pixi product, I am very impressed and can happily say this will be repurchased for a long time. You can pick up it for £12.50 from HQ Hair which may seem a lot but compared to other brow products out there, it's really not too bad, I personally think it's worth it.
