Styling a Festive Dining Table

This month, I teamed up with Furniture Choice to create a festive table. I love anything metallic, simple and chic. So, I choose to keep my table styling very muted using mostly whites, greys with the pop of pink. Of course, there is nothing wrong with traditional Christmas colours – but, I like to switch it up to suit my style.

I always tend to use a table runner when styling our dining table. Whether is it a small mat or a full length runner. I think it always helps to bring everything together. I choose a Tilda fabric, which I thought was perfect at adding a little colour to my colour scheme.

When styling a large table, I don’t usually create one main focal point. As long as the decor flows well – I never worry about having a main focus. I chose to use plenty of pretty tea lights and candles. Although, I made sure I kept the scented candles to a minimum. There’s nothing worse than having a dozen scents flowing while your trying to tuck into your tasty dinner.

I used a couple of my favourite festive decorations including a recent purchase of Dunelm’s Winter Cottage Snow Globe and my artifical Snowdrop plant from John Lewis.
