Skincare Update : Evening Routine

Following on from my daytime skincare routine here’s my evening routine, there’s something more substantial to an evening routine. That’s when all the pots and potions come out to play. Some products you’d have seen on the blog but there are a few you haven’t.

Boots Double Face Oval Pads 50 pads £1.89
These are great, I normally stock up when they have them on special offer. They’re nice and big so I only need one pad to remove my daily eye makeup. I spilt the pad in half and then soak in…

Bioderma Sensibo Micellar Solution 500ml £14.50
This is my second bottle and it won’t be my last, Bioderma is without a doubt one of those cult products. Great for all skin types, it’s particularly clever at removing waterproof eye makeup and red lipstick! I use this over the eyes to remove stubborn mascara and eye liner.

Nip Fab Deep Cleansing Fix 300ml £7.95
This is a new treasure I came across whilst browsing the Asos sale, I’m a sucker for a cleanser and when I saw the price I couldn’t resist. I’ve not tried much from Nip Fab but so far I’ve been really impressed. Not just another cleanser but a 6-in-1 multi-tasking product which I love! So firstly it dissolves makeup, deep cleanses the skin especially pores, a great 10 minute facial mask, overnight hydrating treatment, great to apply onto blemishes and when used with a cloth helps aid exfoliation. I have been using this as my evening cleanse and also found myself reaching for this when I had a couple blemishes pop up. It has a very clean fresh Eucalyptus smell that makes you’re skin feel clean and ready for the next stage.

Nip Fab Dragons Blood Fix Cleansing Pads x60 £9.95
If you’ve followed my blog for a while you’ll know I’m a huge fan of gentle exfoliation, my new found love is the exfoliating pad. I stumbled across these pads whilst browsing the ASOS sale. Each pad is packed full of great skincare ingredients such as Salicylic acid good for deep cleansing and aiding exfoliation, Hyaluronic acid known for it’s hydrating properties great for plumping out the skin, therefore even skin tone and fine lines diminished. Not forgetting Witch Hazel working hard to reduce those pesky unwanted blemishes. Gentle enough to use day/night.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment 15ml £40
I have always used an eye cream in my skincare routine ever since the age of 15yrs which I know is a little premature but I really believe in prevention is better than cure. Unless you’re concerned about fine lines and wrinkles this isn’t for you. Active ingredients Padina, Pavonica and Blue Flower Linseed help smooth and firm the delicate eye area, whilst targeting fine lines and wrinkles. It feels super light and cooling, great for puffy eyes!

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Complex 50ml £69.00
I bought this bottle last year and it’s just about to run out, it has been a staple contender within my evening routine ever since. I did pay a little bit extra and went for the 50ml bottle because it worked out the better deal. A little goes a long way, I have enjoyed the pipette applicator, I find you waste less product and you can be more precise with the amount you need. The formulation is similar to a serum except I would say this is on the runny side, it sinks into the skin so easily providing instant hydration. It works hard through the night to renew the skin ready for you to wake up to smoother brighter skin, with the added bonus of reduced fine lines and wrinkles.

Claudia Louch Deep Line Complex 40ml £61.50
As you know I’m a huge fan of the Claudia Louch skincare line, every product I have tried I have loved thoroughly. This has the perfect formulation feels of a high quality, velvety and not greasy. My skin loves this so much, I use two pumps over the top of the Advanced Night Repair Complex. It’s suitable for normal to dry and sensitive skins and made with 94% natural ingredients which is amazing. You know you’re skin is getting the best it possibly can. with ingredients such as, Aloe Vera Gel, Jojoba, Avocado & Grapeseed oils you know you’re in safe hands. My skin looks plump, smoother and lines look less and less, I noticed a difference on my forehead and I don’t want the cream to end!

Korres Wild Rose Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial 40ml £26
I have already reviewed this product, so if you would like a more in depth review click here. However in a nut shell? AMAZING, I don’t reach for this every evening but at least twice a week. It’s gentle enough to use every evening but I’m stretching the life out a little longer. The price is great considering the difference it makes, I noticed the difference after the first application. The cream feels amazing, it melts into the skin working it’s magic to brighten the complexion and helping to reveal smoother skin. This is one of those products that will make your skin look healthy even if you’re not feeling your best, my foundation always looks great the following day.
