Color Club Shift into Neutral Spring Collection

Disclaimer: PR sample. See bottom

Who loves a good neutral nail polish?

Color Club‘s got seven new ones for spring, called the Shift Into Neutral Collection.

Check out swatches!

Blush Crush:

Blush Crush is a sheer almost nude pink. I used two coats; a third might eliminate visible nail lines. Formula was a bit thick but not hard to work with.

Barely There:

Barely There is a creamy nude. This came very close to matching my skin tone for mannequin hands. I wore this in two coats – it’s getting a permanent spot in my collection!

Get a Mauve On It:

Get a Mauve On It is, well, mauve. The was good in two coats, a good formula.

Blank Canvas:

Blank Canvas is a white creme. I’ve swatched it in two coats and it was, as whites tend to go, a little tougher to get even in application. The formula was a bit thicker on this polish than some of the others, as well.

Midnight Mulberry:

Midnight Mulberry is one of my favorites from the colleciton, a dusty, darker mauve than Get a Mauve On It. I swatched it in two coats and the application was easy, formula was good.

New-Tral:

New-Tral is a pretty pink with lots of white. Shown here in two coats, formula was a bit thicker again on this one but I was able to get even application and this is another of my favorites from the collection.

Sweet Mint:

Sweet Mint is a light minty green – it’s not as dark as green tea ice cream, but that’s what it reminds me of. This is another of my favorites from the collection. I love how this pops on the skin. No trouble on application.

Overall, this is a nice variety of neutrals, covering sheer nude, nude, pink, mauve and green. I’m really pleased with the inclusion of Sweet Mint!

Although about half the polishes were a bit thicker than the others, for the most part I was able to achieve even application.

For the most part, I’m ready for brighter colors and pastels, so this collection doesn’t really do it for me. There are about three or four polishes I like here, though!

Shift into Neutral is available here on the Color Club website, for $8.50 a piece, or in stores where Color Club is sold.

Are neutrals still attracting your attention when it comes to nails? What do you think of Color Club’s neutrals?
