Ninja Polish is BACK!

After a break last year, the brand is back with renewed energy and is soon releasing two collections – Gemstone Dreams and the collection I have to share with you today, Infinity Gems!

Infinity Gems is a seven-piece collection full of holo goodness; there’s a fine golden holographic glitter topper and six beautiful linear holo polishes.

The theme? Straight out of the comics! The Infinity Gems are a Marvel Comics creations that were previously called “Soul Gems,” described as powerful tools that give the person with the gem complete omnipotence over one of the following six: space, mind, reality, time, power and soul. The “Infinity Gauntlet” is described as when comic character Thanos wore all the gems at once on a glove to possess ultimate, omnipotence over the world – which apparently led to some bad shit going down. (I am a bit of a geek, but I do confess I had to do a little research to learn more about these!).

But back to the polishes! How about some swatches?!

Infinity Gauntlet:

Infinity Gauntlet is a scattered, fine golden holographic glitter topper. I used two coats over an existing water marble I did with Orly and China Glaze summer neons. I love the sparkle it added to my already cool mani! I totally forgot to put top coat over it and wore it like this for a day and a half or so. It was a bit gritty without top coat.

Soul:

Soul is a beautiful green linear holo. I wore this pretty in two coats. Top coat did not dull the holo.

Mind:

Mind is a beautiful, nearly one-coat blue. It’s such a rich, jewel-tone blue, I was swooning as I swatched. The only thing is, this one is not as holographic on the nail or even in the sun as it is in the bottle. I’m not sure why. But there’s a dimension to it nonetheless that I love. I swatched it in two coats.

Time:

Time is a slightly rusted orange linear holo – shown here in two coats. The base of this color reminds me of the shirt my husband wore on our first date – that he still has and can wear today, lol!

Reality:

Reality is another one of my favorites – a lemony, limey golden yellow linear holo that was opaque in two coats for me! I don’t even know what more I can say about this that the picture doesn’t say for me!

Space:

Space is a purple linear holo. The holo on this one is strong, and I love the effect. It’s shown here in two coats.

Power:

Power is a sweet red linear holo. I wore this one in two coats; like with Soul, top coat did not dull the holo on this. Power is another of my favorites – and it’s a red that fits in with that comic book theme as I keep picturing Superman!

Overall, Infinity Gems is a nice set of holo polishes. My favorites are Soul, Power, Space, Reality… Mind. Ok. I like them all. LOL!

I had no issues in application, and I was able to get each one opaque in two coats. Ninja Polish is five-free, 15mL bottles with a wide pro brush.

Sale deets!

Infinity Gems will be available for soft launch June 25-28 at the Florida Supercon in Miami, Fla. Ninja Polish is exhibiting at Booth 1315, selling many other polish goodies, as well!

If you’re like me and you can’t get to Miami (I have this lame excuse about having a baby, haha), you can pick up the whole set from July 6-13 for a promotional price of $60 from the Ninja Polish website.

If you don’t want all the polishes, the set will fully launch on July 17, with the full set at $70, and individual bottles at $10 a piece.

Ninja Polish is making Infinity Gems part of its permanent stock! The brand said it will not announce set restocking times, due to data overload issues. You will be able to sign up for back-in-stock notifications.

I’m very excited Ninja is back. Some of my favorite polishes are from Ninja – Mystic Glacier, Nebula, the Facets Collection and the Dragon collection. I can’t wait to see where the brand goes next!

So what do you think? Any of the Infinity Gems catch your eye?!
