Stinson Beach, California

After we did our hike in Mt. Tamalpais, the three of us were ready for some food and booze. We drove over to the nearby Stinson Beach and found a little reastarunt called the Sandollar. I was a little worried that it would turn out to be a tourist trap type of place, but we were pleasantly surprised. We dined on oysters, prawn tacos, and white wine. It was a great way to relax after our outdoor adventures.

Being fully energized by food, we stopped by a little food stand by the entrance of the beach and got huge ice cream cones covered in jimmies. We decided that the best way to eat these was coast side, so we took off our shoes and walked in the waves as we enjoyed our cones.

Going to Stinson Beach after being in the woods in the morning was a great nature combo. After we walked the length of the beach, we drove Highway 1 back into San Francisco. There was no fog; the sky was clear blue, making the views back "home" absolutely stunning. From morning to afternoon, our Monday after the craft fair seemed to be a week long (in the good way). What an amazing adventure with two lovely ladies. I am super lucky to have Donovan and Carolee in my life.
