Three Transeasonal Pieces

Those awkward in-between seasons periods are the trickiest to dress for. It’s not cool enough to switch over to your winter wardrobe, but you can’t quite get by on your summer wardrobe either. What you need are some go to transeasonal pieces. Here are my favourites.

The lightweight knit

It’s always a good idea to have some thinner, loosely knitted sweaters in your repertoire. In winter, it’s perfect to layer under an oversized coat, and it really shines as a transeasonal piece. Mine is by POL Clothing. If you haven’t already, you can enter my Instagram Giveaway to win a $150 winter wardrobe by POL!

The slip skirt

When the weather starts to cool down, you might notice that your legs are the last to feel the cold and the first to overheat. Therefore you could be wearing your summer bottoms right up until winter truly sets in. I really love the look of sleepwear inspired clothing. The slip skirt goes with sweaters like salt and pepper, so they are a must have transeasonal piece. Mine is by Lilya.

The canvas sneaker

The comfort x style factor is enough for me to always have a pair of canvas sneakers on my shoe rack. But the breathable material makes it the perfect transeasonal shoe when it’s too cool for the ballet flat and too warm for the ankle boot.
