card nest + 50% off!

Subscription boxes and the like are familiar to us all now, but a concept I hadn't come across before is what CardNest are doing. Each month, they send you 3 cards that will not be found on the high street, as well as 3 first class stamps. Y'know when it's someone's birthday and you start panicking because you haven't got them a card? That'll never ever happen again.
CardNest's mission is to get us all to start writing to each other again. I love that.
I know how special I feel when someone posts me a card, so why not spread that joy?

Luckily for me, CardNest let me try out their service for three months. In October, these cards (below) landed on my doormat. Firstly, I loved how they've paid attention to the design of this whole thing - even the strong, card envelopes that the cards come in have fun patterns!
I haven't used the top two cards yet, but it's always good to have cards like that around for when people need them. The "happy birthday" card was sent down to my niece for her 3rd birthday - I felt like it was made for her!

Scroll down to see what I got in November & December and to get an amazing 50% off code!

In November I got these cards below. The "cheers" card was ideal for sending a friend off on an amazing relocation to San Francisco (hi SJ!) and the lovely lion card was another family birthday.. although I keep forgetting to actually post it.

This is the December lot - so far the birthday card has been sent up to a friend who's birthday I can't attend, and the Christmas cards are about to be written and posted off too! I've got two Christmas cards in the post so far, and I forgot how lovely it is to receive them, so I'm on the hunt for more lovely cards to give to all my friends and family!

If you love this idea as much as I do, you can sign up and get 50% off your first month by entering the code BEINGLITTLE50 ! This code will be valid until 30th January 2015.

The subscription costs £7.50 a month if you're in the UK, and £10 if you're anywhere else. You can also add on 3 first class stamps for £1.86, which is the same amount you'd pay at the post office!
