Although I didn't mention it in
my 2015 post, one of my goals is to wear more colour & pattern over these cold months. It's easy peasy in the spring and summer, but I always find myself reaching for black and grey in the winter. Well, with the help of some sales bargains, I'm breaking out of that rut!
I am in love with this outfit. I feel so super cute in it - kind of like a fondant fancy, or maybe some sweeties. The jumper definitely makes me feel like a marshmallow - I love the oversized shape, and it's
oh so soft! I got the jumper & trousers in the January sales - the latter being the only thing I ended up keeping from
my mini haul of Zara beauties. They just fit me so well, and I love the colour and pattern. I realised after buying them that I had no winter-suitable shoes to go with them though (all my winter shoes/boots seem to be black!) so I picked up these simple - and
very white - pumps from ASOS.
All it takes is a few layers of complimenting colours, a big scarf and cosy coat, and I'm good to go!
What do you reckon? Can I pull off the colourful winter look?
