project nursery - phase 3

After painting and furniture next on my nursery list was picking out baby bedding! This was not an easy task. There are so many baby bedding options available and each one is just as cute as the next! I knew that I wanted to use white, grey, aqua blue and bright green for the colors. Paired with chevron stripes and polka dot's for the patterns. During my search, I stumbled upon Carousel Designs, a web site where you can design your own custom baby bedding! They have tons of fabrics, colors and patters to choose from. I promptly ordered several fabric swatches and went through several design versions before we settled on a winner. It was a fun process and I LOVE the finished product - perfect!

The website is totally interactive and you can customize every detail of the bedding! Plus, you can change the wall, crib, and floor color to see exactly how the bedding will look in your nursery. Warning - many hours can be spent designing and re-designing your bedding! :)
