1. Wenn ihr die wichtigsten Punkte sehen sollt, steigt einfach in die Buslinien 11, 15 und 24. Das ist um einiges günstiger als diese Touristenbusse und ihr könnt mit einem Tagesticket beliebig oft ein- und aussteigen.

2. London hat so super süße Stadtteile und die Architektur ist wirklich beeindruckend. Einfach mal irgendwo hinfahren und die Gegend erkunden lohnt sich. Wir sind zum Beispiel durch Notting Hill gelaufen und ich war ganz begeistert von dieser wunderschönen Gegend.
London has the most beautiful districts and the architecture is amazing. It’s really worth to drive to any random station with the tube and explore the streets. We were in notting Hill for example and it was so beautiful!
3. Die Mieten in London sind unglaublich hoch, da bin ich selbst and Münsteranerin geschockt. ;) Deswegen sind die Hotels auch ziemlich teuer. Mit Airbnb könnt ihr da schnell einiges sparen, besonders auch, wenn ihr mehr als zwei Personen seid. Wenn ihr trotzdem ein richtig schickes Hotel bevorzugt: Das Town Hall Hotel ist eins meiner Lieblingshotels, Das ganze Gebäude ist beeindruckend und die Zimmer wirklich riesig.
The rent in London is incredibly high, therefor the hotels are pretty expensive too. you’ll probably safe a lot of money if you look for a flat at Airbnb. Especially when you’re more than 2 persons. If you prefer a nice hotel room I can recommend the town hall hotel which is one of my favorite hotels cause the building is just stunning and the rooms really huge.
4. London ist wirklich teuer, man kommt aber auch ziemlich gut ohne Geld durch. Die Museen dort sind for free und das Tate Modern und das National History Museum sind wirklich einen Besuch wert. Dann wäre da noch der Wachwechsel vor der Buckingham Palast jeden Tag um 11:30 und ein Highlight für uns deutsche: Die Eichhörnchen sind unglaublich zahm. Wenn ihr ein paar Haselnüsse in den Park mitnehmt, habt ihr die süßen Viecher später vielleicht überall kleben.
London can be pretty expensice but as a tourist you can enjoy lots of attractions for free. The museums for example are free and the Tate Modern (modern art) and the national history museum are definitely worth a look. Or the change of guards at the Buckingham Palace everyday at 11:30. And another point for people like us Germans: The squirrels in London are insanely tame. If you go to a park and have a few hazelnuts with you they’ll love you!
