This free printable discovered on Pinterest and available at LollyJane.com is the latest inspiration for a fall layout using all things Bella.
This is Jamie and I am happy to share some inspo with you today. This page made for a great creative exercise that was inspired by that fall wreath with feathers, and then translated it to paper.
Here's how it went:
To start, I searched my Bella stash for any and all papers that would lend a fall yet whimsical feel to my layout and photo. Then those pattern papers were cut with a Kerri Bradford digital die cut. I love how the feathers turned out with the variety of pattern paper.
This Oh My Stars 4x6s paper was perfect for the background. I may or may not have been a little giddy when I found it. The colors were perfect and I loved all the typed text randomly scattered.
I'm a little obsessed by die cuts at the moment, in case that was not obvious. This Autumn Ring was discovered at Just Nick and I loved the idea of having a wreath like guide for this page. It really helped to give foundation to the feathers and sort of anchor them to the page.
With the Autumn Ring in place and adhered to the page, all that was needed was to tuck the pattern paper feathers here and there. I chose not to completely fill in the wreath. I tend to err on the side of less rather than more. This was the motivation to keep the feathers in clusters around the wreath rather than filled in completely. But the page definitely could have gone either way.
For this layout I chose to stay with a single image. Word stickers, little flags and tags clustered around a label helped give the finishing touches.
Pretty happy with how this turned out and can't wait to be inspired by Pinterest for another page layout.
So here's the creative challenge: take this image, or any other you have pinned, be inspired and create a page layout that gives beauty to your memory.
