Intimate Formentera Beach Wedding

Who would expect to meet their future husband at a stop light? Cory and Saul met driving along Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles (separately)… and it was love at first sight! After a romantic proposal in Barcelona in 2012, the couple spent few days on Formentera island and they fell in love with the tiny Isla Bonita, so they decided that that’s where they were going to get married. Ana Lui Photography was there to capture this beautiful and non-traditional wedding…

On the day of the wedding, Cory and Saul got ready together with their closest friends on their boat and then got dropped off at the stunning beach “Playa de Ses Illetes”.

On the beach, their wedding planner set up the ceremony area with a single blue hydrangea, drift wood from a local artist and merchant, rustic wooden chairs and one talented guitarist who played for Saul and Cory as they spoke their vows surrounded by nature.

The sunset ceremony felt magical. The guests and the wedding couple watched the sun going down and listened to the sound of the sea.
