Pastel-Colored Dijon Château Wedding

Belle & Chic‘s mission is to showcase stylish Mediterranean weddings, but every now and then we stray away just a little from the Mediterranean coasts to showcase the amazing work that is being done in the Northern part of Southern Europe… Like this Dijon wedding, photographed so beautifully by Kristina Assenova. The château venue with its ample gardens couldn’t be lovelier, and the effortlessly elegant décor and sweet French-German couple just captured my heart…

The bride’s favorite flowers are hydrangea, which were used to decorate the venue. Brass candle holders added to the overall ambience, just like the old and rustic stone walls of the chateau’s former barn, where the dinner took place.

From the bride: “We wanted a simple summer wedding, and the charming gardens of Barbirey with the beautiful château were the perfect setting. We chose three subtle colors – creme, plae blue and vintage rose – for design of the celebration. It was a classic French country wedding, with the pre-banquet cocktail on a lawn and the dinner and party in the barn.”
