My latest book's first review and cupcakes. :)

My latest children's book comes out July 7 of this year, and it just got it's first review from Kirkus Reviews (who can be tough cookies sometimes). Anyway, it was a pretty good one, besides the last half of the last line (about parents cringing at junk food). They said pretty much that same darn thing last time!

So I sent them a thank you note, inside a box with 2 dozen gourmet cupcakes-
